This smooth silver Blazer belongs to Scott Martin of Ground Zero out of central Kansas. The truck is a 1985 S-10 Blazer, which Scott bought in when he was only 15 years old in 1996. To slam the truck, Scott chose to lower it 5-inches in front and 7-inches in back. The wheel wells are filled with custom rims, but they will be swapped out soon for a set of 17-inch Centerline wheels.

Body modifications are numerous, including shaved door handles, a rear roll pan, smoothed front bumper, and cowl induction hood. The beautiful sterling silver paint is accented with red, blue, and purple pearlescent ghost flames. The custom modifications continue on the interior, where Scott fully-tweeded the entire interior and added 6 JL Audio subwoofers powered by PPI amps. A custom steering wheel, and eclipse CD player complete the interior modifications.

Scott wanted some serious power for his truck, so he started looking, and discovered a wrecked Z-28 Camaro. Scott quickly discarded the stock 2.8 litre, and dropped in the massive 5.7 tuned port injected 350 V-8 with a six speed manual transmission from the Camaro. What an upgrade!

The final product of shows what hours of hard work (and money) can do to one's vehicle. And for those on a student's budget like Scott, that means that all the money goes into the ride.
