Black S-10 SS

Here's a fine example of a purpose-built sport truck. It is the work of Dennis Bell of Dayton Ohio. His 1995 Chevy S-10 SS is a work-in-progress that had one goal in mind, speed. Right now, the modification are simple, including a K&N air filter and modified air box for better air flow into the filter. The exhaust is by Flowmaster and is a cat-back unit with dual exhaust. The suspension was tweaked down another 3-inches in front and rear, as the stock SS truck comes 2-inches lower already. The tires are 255-60 series from BFGoodrich. Dennis has an Eclipse CD head unit , Sony amplifier, and Alpine & Rockford speakers to keep his ears happy.

This truck is not done yet, future Modifications include Edelbrock headers, MSD ignition, reprogrammed OBD-II computer, rear-end gear change (possibly from 3:42 to 3:73), and a 160-degree thermostat.

In stock form, the truck ran a best 1/4-mile track time of 15.02 @ 97 mph. That was before any engine modifications were made.

All modifications were done by Dennis himself. He would appreciate any help or info about his future modifications, and would love to hear from someone in the Dayton Ohio area who can help him out.
