Mike Junkins' '95 Chevy

This smooth truck belongs to Mike Junkins of Huntsville, Alabama. It's a 95 Chevy extended cab with a 350 TBI V-8 and a 5 speed manual transmission. Mike chose to keep the outside simple, and apply his customization where it counts: under the hood.

Performance modifications include an Edlbrock cat-back exhaust system, JBA Shorty Headers, 160 degree thermostat, a Fastchip computer chip, T&T Throttle body TBI spacers, Evergreen's AIRAID intake system with a K&N cone filter, and Mike's very own custom twin electric fan conversion.

Engine compartment modifications are numerous, including a stainless-steel braided hose kit, chrome dress-up kit, a custom raditor cover, "Fleck Stone" painting, polished various parts, painted pullies, and center bolt spark plug wire loom.

The outside of the truck was smoothed out by removing all body molding, trim, and badges. The windows were given a dark tint, and the taillights, parking lamps, and side marker lenses received a tint with lense spray. The front of the truck has a blue Bowtie, and the rear half of the truck is covered by a color-matched bed shell. Those satin-finished rollers are TSW Kalahari 17x8 Rims with Eagle GT II 275/60/17 tires.

Moving inside the truck, we find a 35 watt x 4 chnnel amp, a powered SAS Bazooka subwoofer, and a 6 CD changer. Mike says future modifications will include relocating the battery to the bed, a 2/4 suspension drop, and paint matched front and rear bumpers. Mike has performed all modifications himself, and he has a great-looking truck to show for all his work.

Send Michael email.
