Rick Miller's Dodge Ram
This custom 1981 Dodge Ram shortbed belongs to Rick Miller of Gettysburg, PA. The Viper Red painted truck boasts a 440-cubic inch enigne bored .30 over. A Holley 850 carb sits atop a Mopar Performance M-1 intake. The engine features a Mopar Performance Purple Camshaft with .590 lift, Crane adjustable rockers, and flat top pistons. Exhaust gases are sent out through Hedman headers. The 727 Automatic transmission transfers all the engine power to a Chrysler 8 3/4" rear, which is equipped with 4.57 Richmond gears. With this setup, the truck has run a best E.T. of 11.58 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 115 mph! That's one fast truck. But apparently, it's not fast enough for Rick, because plans for a new engine are already underway.
