Rich Young's 1954 Ford F-100
This is Rich's 54 F-100 Ford Pickup. It has a custom built ladder bar rear suspension and a Mercury Marquis front clip including the 460 and C6 combo. The motor has a hot cam and headers for "that" sound. The rear suspension is custom built by Rich. It includes 31x18x15 Pro Trac tires with coil-over shocks and 456:1 gears. It has a hand-built 30 gal stainless-steel fuel tank. The body has been modified as Rich says, "....all of it but the glove box door." The door handles and all trim have been shaved and electric door releases with a power antenna were added. The top has been chopped 3.5" with the vent windows removed. The paint was custom shot by Rich. It is pearl white with watermelon and seafoam green scallops. This truck has been across the country twice and was his daily transportation for a few years.
