LITTLE RED

Adam bought this '88 Ranger back in '93 when it had about 60k miles and was just a plain Jane Ranger. And now, 5 years, 100,000 miles, and about $6,000 later, this is what it looks like.

The paint is Ford's version of Candyapple red by Glasurit. The custom wheels are 15x8 Z Racing 5 stars wearing Viper GT 215/60/15 tires. The rear of the truck got a 1-inch drop to level it out.

The body modifications include Stillen ground effects, a custom grille with night rider light insert, and a fiberglass tounneau cover with wing. The interior features Ford Probe bucket seats, a carpeted interior including dash and bed, and 2 red neon tubes interfaced with the bass on the sound system. The stereo consits of a Pioneer cassette head unit with 12 disc changer, two Pioneer 12's in the bed with 400 watt Laguna amp, two Pioneer 8's in the cab run by a 140 watt Malibu amp, and two 6.5's, two 5.25's, and two tweeters all by Pioneer. If you didn't realize it from the audio equipment, Adam is an electronics sales, car stereo and home theatre installer. He is also a member of a local club, Addicted To Gravity.

Adam just recently put a brand new 2.0L crate engine straight from Ford mainly because he was looking for reliablity over speed. And as Adam mentioned, "Lord knows I would kill myself with anything bigger under the hood."
